…the story begins.
I am a Microsoft SQL Server professional. Certified in the latest version, SQL Server 2008. No, not version 2010…yet. I've been working in databases for 24 years, since 1988. I've worked with Microsoft Foxpro and dBase. Databases are the way to go when you have to catalog and relate data.

Running the Crim
I've been running, ever since my "coach", Kevin, challenged me to run the Crim in 2001. It's a 10 mile run around downtown Flint. I figured, I was a semi-athlete, so I didn't need to train too much. I just wanted to finish the 10 miles. Well, I finished. Barely. During the race, an older lady passed me. I could NOT keep up with her. She was badly out of shape and very old. I memorized her number to read her age when I was done. 68 YEARS OLD.
A RUNNER WAS BORN. I am now and will always be a "runner".

I've always loved creating web sites. Since I'm not officially an "artist", designing websites allows me to be creative without knowing the 10 steps to draw a dog….or whatever.

My official professional title is Prophet 21 Analyst. Prophet 21 is a software platform for middle size to larger companies. It takes care of the ordering, accounting and inventory. It's a very exciting platform that utilizes Microsoft SQL Server (which is nice).
During my off time, I like to think I'm a photographer. While my skills are quite weak, I just love getting the "right picture". Surprise is key.
